繼《魔戒》中的勒苟拉斯之後，中土大陸又出了一位更加美麗的男精靈—精靈王瑟蘭督伊。
說＂又＂其實好像也不對，因為《哈比人》是前傳，而且瑟蘭督伊是勒苟拉斯他老爸，先有漂亮爸爸才有漂亮兒子。

李佩斯是瑟蘭督伊的扮演者，有稍微關注的人都會知道，李佩斯本人和瑟蘭督伊差、很、多，哈哈哈！

   
他不但不是金毛（其實奧蘭多布魯也不是啊），還是個大鬍子！

但是他濃濃的眉毛好可愛喔（盲目）！

第一次看到瑟蘭督伊的時候還覺得金色長直髮的精靈王眉毛也太粗，可是現在是越看越可愛啊！

Good friends with Matt Bomer. Both have circled parts in 'The Normal Heart' written by 'Larry Kramer'. Pace was directed by Joel Grey in his debut on Broadway on 2011, while Bomer is set to be directed by Ryan Murphy in the TV-edition due 2014.

Portrays a paraplegic in The Fall (2006), but director Tarsem Singh decided to keep almost the entire cast and crew under the impression that Pace also suffered from it in real life. A makeup artist walked into a room to find Pace standing and almost passed out from shock.

在《魔幻旅程》中飾演一位下半生癱瘓者，但導演決定讓大多數的演員以及工作人員以為佩斯是真的癱瘓。曾有化妝師到室內去找佩斯，見到他站著時受到很大的衝擊。

In December 2012, he auditioned for the role of Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). However, in April 2013, four months after his initial audition, he was cast as the antagonist in the film, Ronan the Acuser.

2012年12月他去試鏡了《星際異攻隊》的男主角星爵，但在試鏡四個月後2013年的4月他被選為片中的反派控者羅南。

喔嗚…看看現在的男主角，其實讓李佩斯演也滿適合的啊～
還是因為這樣他就會和樹人差不多高了，所以才沒選他嗎？

Was considered for the part of Will Graham in Hannibal (2013). He also turned down a guest appearance in the first season, due to his commitments with a Broadway play.

曾經有考慮過演出漢尼拔中的角色威爾格雷厄姆。後來又因為百老匯的表演而拒絕了在漢尼拔第一季的客串演出。

有點可惜，又有點好險，因為我不敢看漢尼拔啊，哈哈哈哈！

Missed the world premiere of both Lincoln (2012) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012) as he was busy with the Broadway-play "The Golden Age". The following year he missed out on the world premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), since he was busy filming additional episodes for Halt and Catch Fire (2014) in Atlanta.

因為百老匯舞台《黃金年代》的演出，他錯過了《林肯》和《暮光之城：破曉（下）》的世界首映會。下一年他又因為在亞特蘭大補拍電視劇《Halt and Catch Fire》又錯過了《哈比人：荒谷惡龍》的世界首映會。
還覺得他不算很紅，但是工作滿檔啊！難怪都沒能看到他在紅毯上帥氣的身影，嗚嗚！

On Friday December 14th 2012, he maintained a personal box office record, when three films he starred in - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012) and Lincoln (2012) - were all placed in the Top 5 of highest grossing movies at the domestic box office of the day. For the weekend, the Twilight film ranked as number six, but he was still the only actor to have three movies in the box office top five at the same time in 2012.

2013年4月於美國喬治亞州海勒姆拍攝《Halt and Catch Fire》。
這部也好期待，久違的在看到李佩斯在美劇中演主角，而且還是正常的一般人！這幾年演的都是一些精靈、吸血鬼或是外星人之類比較不現實的角色，哈！
2014年可以看到三次李佩斯也太幸福了！！（流淚）其中的兩部電影都還是大片，他也蒸蒸日上了。

李佩斯第一部作品《迷戀賀爾蒙》的首映是在2003年1月美國猶他州公園市的聖丹斯電影節。

Steven Spielberg decided to cast him as Fernando Wood in Lincoln (2012) after seeing his performance in Ceremony (2010). However, Spielberg seemingly did not take issue with the age difference between Pace and Wood. In real life, Wood was 53 years old when the story of the film took place. Pace was 33 when he portrayed him.

導演是帝芬史匹柏在看過他在《劫婚典禮》中的演出之後，決定找他飾演《林肯》中的角色 Fernando Wood，但是在佩斯和Wood的年齡上有所爭議，在電影拍攝的背景下Wood當時的年齡是53歲，佩斯卻是33歲。

David Tennant and Doug Jones were both considered for the part of King Thranduil in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), before Pace was given the part. Director Peter Jackson saw Pace's performance in The Fall (2006) which subsequently made Pace the front-runner for the part.

大衛田納德和道格瓊斯都曾被考慮在《哈比人：意外旅程》飾演精靈王瑟蘭督伊，之後則是由佩斯得到了此角色。導演彼得傑克森在看了佩斯的《魔幻旅程》後，隨即給了他這個角色。

According to Steven Spielberg, Pace's opening monologue in Lincoln (2012) was rewritten shortly before the scene was shot. Pace had to remember the monologue in four minutes before the cameras began rolling.

根據史蒂芬史匹柏的說法，佩斯在《林肯》一開始的獨白是在拍攝前被重新改寫，因此他必須在攝影機啟動前的四分鐘將獨白記起來。

Upon wrapping The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014), he kept his prosthetic elf ears and his character's elven-sword. The ears are kept in a book, while he keeps the sword in his umbrella stand.
